‘Pondus’ daughter is giving her dad a run for his money!’ (Bergens Tidende, which gave it five stars)
‘Frode Øverli is recognisable both in his ugly style and his brutal humour. This is fresh entertainment for the whole family.‘ Anne Cathrine Straume, NRK Kultur
‘Frode Øverli has created a warm and perfectly tart extension of the Pondus universe, with impressive results.” Walter Wehus, barnebokkritikk.no

“I don’t like playtime, but I do like all forms of storytelling. When my children were little, I read to them all the time, or we would create our own stories that we then acted out in different ways. When my youngest daught grew old enough to read herself, I suddenly found time to put pen to paper and write down all my stories. The result was the Vilde series, inspired by my daughter’s interest in hobby horses. The best thing about stories, I believe, is that you get to meet people, see places and understand ways of thinking that you might have never encountered otherwise. To create a story that evokes feelings and gives new insights about yourself or the world, that’s the most beautiful thing I can imagine.”
